Toyota and the All-New 2018 Camry partnered with ESSENCE to to curate a multi-sensory playground rooted in the theme of Afrofuturism–the culmination of black culture, technology, liberation and pure imagination. Performers included Lion Babe, Ari Lennox, Young Paris, Sharaya J. and Suzi Analogue.
I created the activation social media strategy, provided onsite social media coverage throughout the event (took photos, wrote copy and posted to Facebook and Twitter), directed the video production team on what content to capture for our sizzle and interview videos and worked with influencer Everette Taylor (CEO of PopSocial, Forbes 30 under 30 2017) to create content to extend our social media reach.
